OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Moo Moo Musica Method incorporates personal expression and group participation to ignite the joy, vitality and imagination that is the essence of the human experience. It was inspired by a desire to promote world peace through music, dance and art-making by building Connection – to one’s self, to the Earth, and to people of all cultures. ©


OUR TEACHERS

CHRISTIANE’s BIO:
Christiane grew up in Montreal, Canada and is fluent in both French and English.  In school throughout her teens she sang in chorale groups and went on to study in the arts.  Christiane has a BFA from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick and a degree in Education from McGill University in Montreal.  She has taught art extensively to both young children, teens, adults and seniors. She sang with Coeur Maha in Montreal and since moving to Los Angeles in 2004, she sings with a sanskrit chanting group. She also enjoys playing the flute and joined the Moo Moo Musica team in 2008.  ©

KATHRYN’s BIO:
Kathryn Ferran is an actor, writer and musician who recently graduated from USC in film and theatre. She studied voice with Marla Jones for over ten years, and is involved in a myriad genres of music, from musical theatre and children’s music to jazz and rock.  She’s been in numerous shows, as well as sung at clubs such as Catalina Bar & Grill and M Bar. Kathryn also works regularly as a nurse on “General Hospital” and wrote, directed, and starred in the short film “dreamtime”, 2008’s official selection for three film festivals including Reel Women International and Beverly Hills Shorts. She teaches at Moo Moo Musica, a joyful celebration of multi-cultural music and dance, with babies and little children, and is currently (and excitedly!) working on recording their first CD.  ©
