In Case you are looking for something FUN to do this Thursday Night…
We’re showing “Flipper” at 6:00pm and before that we’ll be having fun with a couple of the tunes from Moo Moo Musica’s upcoming CD and then Tom Freund with HUG TREES will play a mini-concert for everyone. There’ll be a bouncer, sparkle temporary tattoos and yummy Hot Cocoa from Whole Foods and delicious food from the Green Truck (the cocoa and food cost a little something).We were planning to have it outside (“Sustainable Drive-In”) but it looks like it might be cold so we’ll go upstairs to the theater inside. Hope you can join us for Flipper and all the rest!

Moo Moo Musica wishes everyone a very safe, fun Halloween!
*Halloween Carnival!
The Electric Lodge in Venice (include link to E. Lodge here) is hosting a Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 31 from 2 -5 pm. There will be games ( my son, Jasper, will be helping with those!), lots of food, videos, fun with costumes, etc. Should be a good time … We hope to see there!

We have just a few Saturday classes left (10/31, 11/7, 11/14) before the Holiday schedule kicks in. Starting in December we hope to have one Saturday morning class each month with LIVE MUSIC! Very exciting! We’ll let you know as it all unfolds!

Just a reminder to all during these especially challenging (health-wise) times…
PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO CLASS IF THEY HAVE A RUNNY NOSE (OR OTHER OBVIOUS HEALTH ISSUE) Sometimes a child that seems “unusually quiet or tired” may be struggling with a health issue.
Our generous policy of “come to any class, whenever it feels right for you and your child” was to ENCOURAGE ADULT NURTURERS TO NOT TREAT THEMSELVES OR THEIR CHILDREN LIKE OBJECTS and come to class when they were extremely tired or sick. to As a mother and a psychotherapist, it seemed absolutely natural and necessary (!) to offer a more nurturer-and-child-friendly policy than what was currently available when we started almost 8 years ago.
Thank you for having respect and compassion for yourselves, these gorgeous children and our wonderful community and LET’S ALL STAY HEALTHY!

Happy Labor Day Everyone!
Just a reminder to all that there will be NO Moo Moo Musica class this weekend on Saturday, 9/5 @ 9:45am or on Labor Day Monday at 9:30am. Classes resume regular schedule as of Tuesday, 9/8 at 11:00am
Next PENNIES FOR PEACE PARTY (Afro-Brazilian drumming!) will be on Thursday, September 10 at 10:45am. Keep collecting your pennies… 1 penny buys a pencil, 1 dollar buys an entire month of education for children in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Hi Everyone,
Last Friday, Moo Moo Musica launched our “PENNIES FOR PEACE” PARTY Series of live music concerts at the Electric Lodge in Venice.
Brazilian Drums, Guitar, Ukelele, Sitar/Indian Drums, and Scottish Bagpipes are some of the upcoming highlights in the next few months.
So please bring in those jars of Pennies you’ve collected or handfuls of Pennies (or nickels,dimes,dollars, etc) to add to our already growing collection if you have any OR just bring yourselves!
1 penny will buy a pencil for a child in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Check out
www.penniesforpeace.org to see the amazing work being done to create schools and empower children (especially girls!) in these Taliban infested areas. Some of you might know of Greg Mortensons work for the last 15 years from his book THREE CUPS OF TEA. (
